- Primary Motor Cortex responsible for action alongside the cerebellum
Damaging the Pre-frontal Cortex
- Disorganized behaviour
- Cannot inhibit inappropriate behaviour
- impaired abstract thinking, rigidity of thought
- getting stuck doing the same action over and over again (perseveration)
- personality changes
- emotional lability (unstable emotions)
From a guy names Phineas Gage where an explosion damaged his brain. Leading to his personality changing drastically. He also lacked impulse control.
